Upcoming Webinar /// Risk mitigation: special focus on inverters and components

Tuesday October 24, 3:00-4:00 PM CEST

The long term operation of a photovoltaic plant involves a number of risks that can affect the overall profitability and performance of such a project. During this 1-hour, complimentary webinar, we will focus on risk mitigation relating to different parts of solar power plant design: inverters, cabling and connectors.

Olivier Haldi of Stäubli Electrical Connectors and Francesc Filiberto of Siconia will present an in-depth reflection on risk analysis and mitigation, diving into topics such as:

  • Various long term inverter service strategies

  • Why failures of cables/connectors rank among the highest potential risks in a PV system

  • Impact of risk-factors on the efficiency (LCOE) and the economic success (ROI) of a PV project

  • How to mitigate potential risks and maximize returns
