Prior to joining SMA, Zach’s career has been focused in the energy industry with First Solar and Black & Veatch. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.|

Prior to joining SMA, Hansen worked extensively in the construction and technology industries with companies such as AT&T and Cisco Systems. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Regis University and a Project Management Certificate from The George Washington University.|

|Werner Coppye is a co-founder and the Chief Technological Officer of 3E, responsible for the definition and the implementation of the technology roadmap of the company’s business units. Since 1999, Werner has been actively involved in the company’s business development in energy systems for the built environment, solar and wind energy technical advisory work and product development of the SynaptiQ software platform for renewable energy asset management. Before creating 3E as an IMEC spin-off in 1999, Werner was the R&D manager at Philips Hearing Implants, responsible for the development of the terminal equipment for the fitting of cochlear implants. He previously was a project manager at IMEC in Leuven, first active in the optimisation of high yield crystalline silicon solar cells and later in the study of photovoltaic solar energy systems. Werner is co-author of several publications in international publications and is also regularly invited as guest lecturer on sustainable energy concepts. He graduated as an electro-technical engineer in micro-electronics from the “KU Leuven” (Catholic University of Leuven Belgium) in 1992.|

|Dr. Robin Hirschl studied physics in Vienna, Austria, and Lyon, France, and holds a PhD in Computational Materials Science from Vienna University. He started his career at Booz Allen Hamilton (today Strategy&), joining the European Utilities Team, where he lead energy projects throughout Europe as Senior Project Manager.
Since 2007 he has held management positions at Kioto Photovoltaics and KPV Solar, before co-founding ENcome Energy Performance, offering professional technical services to PV power plants across Europe and Australia. He acts as Managing Director since June 2012. From 2014 until 2017 he was also member of the Supervisory Board of Kioto Clear Energy AG.

|Pietro Radoia is a senior solar analyst at Bloomberg New Energy Finance. He joined BNEF's solar team in early 2011, and covers European PV markets, secondary PV market activity, and PV Levelized Cost of Electricity analysis. Before joining Bloomberg New Energy Finance, Pietro completed an MSc in Environmental Technology at Imperial College, where he specialised in Environmental Economics & Policy. Prior to his postgraduate studies he worked for the European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA) in Brussels for two years.|

Gerhard Mütter is Technical Director of Alternative Energy Solutions GmbH, where he leads, in the function of Owner Representative Advisory (ORA), supervision of O&M for PV-plants.
Together with the international team of experts at Alternative Energy Solutions, Gerhard developed PEAK, our leading-edge data analysis service using special algorithms including machine learning for exploring big data. This software toolset allows supervision of multi-MW PV-plants based on perceptions of deep analysis of large datasets taken from monitoring systems.
Gerhard has worked in the renewable energy industry in product management, product development and PV for Austria’s largest solar-companies for more than 10 years. He has been technical head of large PV plants since 2011. Together with his team, he has analysed more than 2 GW of large PV plants across Europe and India, is Technical Director of Alternative Energy Solutions in India, member of the Scientific Committee of EU-PVSEC and lecturer for Photovoltaics at the Technical University in Vienna.
