Michael Liebreich is Founder and Chairman of the Advisory Board of Bloomberg New Energy Finance, the world’s leading provider of research on clean energy, energy technology and advanced transportation. Michael founded New Energy Finance in 2004 and acted as Chairman and Chief Executive before selling it to Bloomberg LP in 2009. Bloomberg New Energy Finance is headquartered in London and now has over 200 staff in 13 offices around the world. Since August 2012 Michael has served as a Board Member of Transport for London. He is a member of the high-level Advisory Group for the UN Secretary General’s Sustainable Energy for All initiative and is Founder and Chairman of Finance for Resilience (FiRe), EcoVillages and the Liebreich Foundation. He is a Visiting Professor at the Imperial College Energy Futures Lab. Michael is Chairman of technology startup Pearlshare and of St. Mark’s Hospital Foundation, a charity supporting research in colorectal medicine. He is a three-time finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, and in 2015 was presented with the Renewable Energy Association's Judges Award for lifetime achievement. Michael is a member of the Advisory Council of Business for Britain.
Prior to founding New Energy Finance, Michael acted as Deputy Managing Director of Associated Press Television and Founding Director of Sports News Television, then as UK Managing Director of Groupe Arnault’s technology investment. He spent five years in the London office of McKinsey & Co. Michael graduated in Engineering from University of Cambridge with 1st class honours, winning the Ricardo Prize for Thermodynamics and Christ’s College Wyatt Prize. He has an MBA from Harvard, where he was a Harkness Fellow and Baker Scholar. He was a member of the British Olympic Ski Team in 1992.

Alfredo, graduated in Economics at Bocconi University of Milan and began working in a consulting company as analyst for the evaluation of investments in the field of Transport and Energy. At the same time he worked as an assistant to Prof Florio State University of Milan in courses Public Investment Evaluation and Cost Benefit Analysis. In 2007 he joined Engie Group (formerly GdFSuez SA) as Strategy and Business Development for the gas distribution company of the Group (now 2iRete Gas SpA) and since 2010 as Business Developer for the Renewable Holding of Engie Group, where he gained significant experience on different technologies (wind, photovoltaic, hydroelectric) and the Energy markets. Starting from 2016 he hold the position of Head of Asset Management & Commercial Development for Stern Energy SpA. Alfredo is also Member of the Commission for Energy Market of Assorinnovabili.

By working 10 years in various functions in the automotive and renewable energy sector, Tobias Bittkau gained extensive business experience on a global level, with a strong focus on Europe as well as North and South America.
Since 2011, Tobias Bittkau is active in the field of Renewable Energies. Initially he joined BayWa r.e. for several strategic projects. In 2013 he became head of the technical operations management, since 2015 he is responsible for the complete Business Unit Services, operating 2.3GW of wind and PV assets in all major European markets. In addition to technical and commercial operations management, on-site maintenance and 24/7 monitoring, BayWa r.e. also offers Rotor Blade Services as well as a broad range of technical consulting services. Other areas of activity of BayWa r.e. are the development and construction of wind farms, PV plants and biogas plants as well as the trade of energy and solar systems.
Tobias Bittkau studied Physics at the universities of Munich (Germany), Cuernavaca (Mexico) and Toronto (Canada). In 2013/2014, he received his diploma in Renewable Energy Management at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.

Laurens de Vries is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management of Delft University of Technology. Laurens studied Mechanical Engineering in Delft, specializing in environmental and energy technology and obtained a second Master’s Degree, in Environmental Studies, from The Evergreen State College (Olympia, Washington State, USA) in 1996, focusing on environmental economics. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in June, 2004 from Delft University of Technology, this time at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management. He researches and teaches in the field of electricity market design and regulation in the context of the transformation towards a low-carbon energy system. His main focus is on how various policy instruments affect the long-term development of European electricity markets through their impact on investment in generation and transmission.

Cedric Brehaut is an expert in the monitoring and operations & maintenance of PV systems with extensive experience in the solar industry and over thirteen years in Silicon Valley. After seven years spent developing, managing and marketing security software products, Cedric joined the solar industry in 2007 as a director of product management for SunEdison and was a key contributor to the development and growth of the company’s services business unit. During Cedric’s tenure, SunEdison created and launched a new suite of turnkey services for PV plants, including managed monitoring, operations & maintenance, billing, and asset management services. Cedric also acted as the business development leader for these products. In 2011, he established SoliChamba Consulting and began offering consulting services to various firms in the solar industry. Cedric authors the solar industry's most comprehensive reports on PV monitoring and operations & maintenance (O&M) markets, published by GTM Research: 'Global PV Monitoring: Technologies, Markets and Leading Players’, 'Megawatt-Scale PV O&M and Asset Management: Services, Markets and Competitors’, and ‘U.S. Distributed PV O&M and Asset Management'. Cedric also speaks at conferences and events around the globe, from Milan to San Francisco.

Gianluca has over 7 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, spread across different areas, from the development to the financing, construction and then technical, administrative, financial, accounting and fiscal management of energy production assets and their respective investment vehicles setup in different countries.
Since joining WiseEnergy, Gianluca has contributed to the setup and growth of the business and the corporate structure, gaining progressively external exposure and internal responsibilities.
Gianluca has also been involved in the provision of asset management services to both lenders and sponsors and actively participated to lobbying activities carried-out by key Italian sector associations such as Assilea.
Previously, Gianluca worked in the investment banking industry for 6 years, across different financial institutions (Calyon, Mediobanca, Dresdner Kleinwort and lastly Morgan Stanley) and countries (Italy and UK), gaining an extensive experience in the energy and infrastructure sector, having worked on several landmark M&A and capital market transactions closed both in Italy and abroad. Carlos joined Foresight in December 2011. Prior to that, he covered several roles as renewables energy source 'RES' project developer and technical consultant in the international Renewable Energy sector with particular focus on the Spanish and Italian markets. Based in Foresight's UK HQ office, Carlos is responsible for the management and operations of Foresight's Spanish and Italian solar portfolio of circa 100 MW.
Graduated in Industrial Engineering and Industrial Management Engineering by UPC Barcelona, Carlos is fluent in Spanish, Catalan, Italian and English.

Stefan, holds a degree in Business Administration at the University of Parma and has been a lecturer in numerous courses in programming and energy management. He consolidated its training by working as a consultant for strategic planning and development of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency systems for Enia SpA (now Iren) where he held the position of Director of Enia Solaris administration, a group company created to the development of large photovoltaic power plants and is responsible for the rational use of energy under law 10/91 (Energy Manager). Since 2005 he has been consultant of several companies for the development of energy efficiency projects and managing all formalities for the emissions trading legislation. Stefan was Lampogas SpA board member and is currently in the Board of Directors of Polish Solar Ltd based in London. Alexander joined KGAL in 2013 and is a portfolio manager of a European photovoltaic fund as well as the latest KGAL ESPF 4 renewables fund, which achieved its first closing end of June 2017 with EUR 255mn in commitments.
Prior to KGAL Alexander worked for Siemens in energy technology strategy, as business manager in an international renewable energy joint venture and spend six years on venture and growth capital financings in the industrial and energy sectors. Before Siemens Alexander worked in South Africa in power sector consultancy as well as South African startup financing.
Alexander received his master of business administration from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.

Francisco is the Head of Business Development for the Iberica area at GILDEMEISTER energy solutions. Francisco has 11 years of experience in the Solar Industry in Spain, France and the UK. Previously, he has worked as an O&M Business Development Manager for Lightsource, adding 150 MW third party O&M business to their Portfolio in the UK. He has served within the solar industry in a number of different roles, ranging from solar development and EPC services to O&M service for more than 300 MW of Ground and Rooftop Solar Systems in Europe. In addition to this, he has provided a substantial consultancy management for a number of Companies such as IBC Solar, Green Power Partners and the business turnaround specialist David Rubin & Partners.
Francisco has a degree in Physics by the University of Granada, Master in Renewable Energy and the Energy Market by the EOI in Madrid and EMBA by the IESE Business School in Barcelona.

Gerhard Mütter is Technical Director of Alternative Energy Solutions GmbH, where he leads in function of ORA (Owner Representative Advisory) supervision of O&M for PV-Parks with actual (08/2015) more than 700MWp capacity.
With his team and partners of EU-project PERFORMANCE PLUS he developed PIT, Performance Improvement Tools, a software toolset that allows to control multi-MW PV-parks based on perceptions of deep analysis of large datasets taken from monitoring systems.
Gerhard worked in Renewable Energies for Product Management, Product Development and PV for Austrians largest solar-companies like SOLution Solartechnik or General Solar/Sonnenkraft since more than 10 years.
Since 2011 he is technical head of large PV parks.

Before working in the business of PV inverters, Subramanian worked in the UPS and power supply industry and has in total 12 years of experience in energy conversion business.

Marcel Suri is an expert in solar resource modelling and performance assessment of photovoltaic solar power plants. He has received PhD in geography and geoinformation science, and is co-author of more than 100 scientific publications. Marcel Suri is one of authors of the decision support online system PVGIS, which notably contributed to development of photovoltaics in Europe in a last decade. Marcel Suri is managing director of GeoModel Solar. The company operates online system SolarGIS, which includes global solar resource data, meteorological data and software for planning, monitoring and forecasting of solar power generation. Marcel Suri consults developers and operators of solar power plants, investors, banks, and governmental institutions. He managed a number of R&D projects, and is active in the definition and market implementation of standards, which are introducing better transparency and increase efficiency in solar energy. In electricity utilities sector he is active in grid-integration studies related to solar photovoltaics.

Dr. Robin Hirschl studied physics in Vienna, Austria, and Lyon, France, and holds a PhD in Computational Materials Science from Vienna University. He started his career at Booz Allen Hamilton (today Strategy&), joining the European Utilities Team, where he lead energy projects throughout Europe as Senior Project Manager. Since 2007 he has held management positions at Kioto Photovoltaics and KPV Solar, before co-founding ENcome Energy Performance, offering professional technical services to PV power plants across Europe. He acts as CEO since June 2012. As of 2014 he is also member of the Supervisory Board of Kioto Clear Energy AG.

Théo joined Finergreen back in early 2015, two years after the creation of the company. Finergreen is a financial advisory boutique specialized in the renewable energies, with offices in Paris, Abidjan and Rome.
While the office in Paris is addressing a mature market with activities such as M&A, project finance and strategic advisory, the Italian office is for now focused on the M&A practice given the characteristics of the market.
As an associate, Théo has been working on every types of services offered to our clients. From 2017, Théo has also been involved in the Italian development, conducting solar transactions with the help of the local Managing Partner.
Théo holds an engineering degree as well as a MSc in Entrepreneurship. He worked before Finergreen for companies such as Airbus and CA-CIB.
