Soiling is an issue not discussed regularly in Europe; especially in the northern counties. During this one hour long webinar we will discuss why soiling is an issue even in plants located in the UK and in Germany and how you can use innovative methods to assess the soiling levels. Donald van Velsen of Kipp & Zonen B.V. and Gerhard Mütter of Alternative Energy Solutions GmbH will present their experiences regarding:

Gerhard Mütter is Technical Director of Alternative Energy Solutions GmbH, where he leads in function of ORA (Owner Representative Advisory) supervision of O&M for PV-Parks with actual (08/2015) more than 700MWp capacity.
With his team and partners of EU-project PERFORMANCE PLUS he developed PIT, Performance Improvement Tools, a software toolset that allows to control multi-MW PV-parks based on perceptions of deep analysis of large datasets taken from monitoring systems.
Gerhard worked in Renewable Energies for Product Management, Product Development and PV for Austrians largest solar-companies like SOLution Solartechnik or General Solar/Sonnenkraft since more than 10 years.
Since 2011 he is technical head of large PV parks.
Relevant Education: Automotive Engineer, Technical Mathematics and Informatics at University Linz, Austria, MSc for Renewable Energies at Technical University Vienna.

Since joining WiseEnergy, Gianluca has contributed to the setup and growth of the business and the corporate structure, gaining progressively external exposure and internal responsibilities. Gianluca has also been involved in the provision of asset management services to both lenders and sponsors and actively participated to lobbying activities carried-out by key Italian sector associations such as Assilea. Previously, Gianluca worked in the investment banking industry for 6 years, across different financial institutions (Calyon, Mediobanca, Dresdner Kleinwort and lastly Morgan Stanley) and countries (Italy and UK), gaining an extensive experience in the energy and infrastructure sector, having worked on several landmark M&A and capital market transactions closed both in Italy and abroad. Gianluca is graduated cum laude in Business Administration with a major in Corporate Finance at the Bocconi University (Italy).
